Does festool sell organization carriers like I saw on one of your posts?
I hope all is well

Scott’s Response:
Hi Chris
Good eye spy.
For 2014, there is indeed a new generation of Festool toolboxes for painters. You can see in the photo that the one on the left is an open, tray style box. There is also a taller, deeper version of that one available. The one on the right opens out into the configuration shown.
Both are stackable and integrate well with the extractors and other systainers. They are nicely sized for organization of painter hand tools and small sundries. We have eliminated several of our conventional tool boxes and gone to this style.
Here is a link to their new products.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Hope you’re having a great new year.

Hello Scott,
I’m in the process building a 200 square foot ipe deck, based on your recommendations I’m using a Festool RO125 sander with the CT Midi dust extractor. My question is even with the RO125 with Ruby2 80 grit paper I’m still spending about 20 minutes a board (15′) to sand off all the mill glaze and any small imperfection on all 4 sides. Is this typical or am I going over board?
Hi Frank, if you can, post a picture right here in the comment section. I would be curious to see the mill glaze condition. My first response would be to go down to 60g to speed things up, and also, are you doing it in orbital or gear driven mode?
