JGroepl asks about BM Super Spec Concrete….

Written by on November 27, 2011 in Ask the Topcoat Team!, Uncategorized with 0 Comments

JG asks:

Have you heard how the Benjamin Moore super spec concrete pre
treatment and etch (BJMP85001) performs? And how if the recommended
Oil/Grease Emulsifier (BJMP83001)- recommended by BM to use
after performs? Any tips in applying the stuff?
Thanks.

Scott says:

We have not used these specific products for concrete prep. For application, I would follow the manufacturer instructions carefully, as well as the basics for old school acid bath prep, which would mean eye protection, no exposed skin, rinse thoroughly, let dry thoroughly prior to finish application, etc. We will be doing our own shop floor very soon and I may try these products.
