Radius 360 and Trigon 180 sander Review (2011)

Our review of the Full Circle International sanding system appears on pages 8 and 9 of the May 2011 issue of American Painting Contractor magazine in the column “From the Field”, by Scott Burt.

FCI is one of the sponsors of our Contractor Blog Post Contest, generously contributing their products to go to one contest winner (there are 4 winners total in 2 categories). Prizes from FCI include a Radius 360 and a Trigon 180, as well as a 25 pack of 150 grit sanding discs for each unit. Great stuff!

In 2008, we wrote about the 360 as part of our Ultimate Green Prep Trio. The FCI component of that trio has made noteable advances in the past three years.

    Good review!

I’m typically sceptical of products that require proprietary replacement systems. I was leery buying this sander, but read some good reviews and thought I would give it a go.

Not sure where my old rectangular sander is anymore….I use the 360 all the time! Sanding especially between coats is significantly faster because as the name suggests, you can move any direction. Its very frustrating having the ‘old fashioned’ rectangular pole sander “grab and flop” and dint your wall….not with the 360.

You said it Scott, the 360 took a common, mundane job and made it better/faster…cool!

    • Paul,
We started using the 360 a few years ago, and it was amazing to float and not flip…finally! Nice to hear from a fellow wall sanding advocate. Thanks!
