Congratulations to all the winners, it was tough going for sure!
Definitely…feels like the last day of final exams!
Hats off to Darren and Scott! Thanks for putting it on!
Looking forward to following your post Shootout coverage over at http://www.bloggingpainters.com!
Thank you Darren for what must have been a difficult job!
It was challenging because ALL the blog pieces that were submitted were well done. So, Darren had to assess the quality of the piece itself, but also measure it against how well it fit the criteria for the Shootout Class it was entered in. Most of the blog pieces were pre-existing content that people had previously written and submitted, so there were varying degrees of “fit”. All in all, just very encouraging to see such strong CONTENT across the board. I learned alot, and if/when we do another one, it will be even better!
Nice job fellas!
I’m over the moon to be a winner – Thank You! I also appreciate the effort it took to coordinate and finalize this contest so a big thanks comes to you as a reader as well. Can’t wait for my Erecta-Rack Drying System and I’ll be blogging about it, definitely! It’ll be such a help during our cabinetry and door commissions.
Winners – please be sure to email me your shipping addresses so I can coordinate with the manufacturers to get those prizes out to you! Again, thanks to ALL for participating, its fun to see the best of the finishing community.
A great contest and a humbling experience. What a great group of entries.
I am glad to hear that the Faux Impressions products worked out for your needs. I look forwsard to hearing and seeing more great stuff from your installations. Congrats
Thanks for dropping in, Ed. We enjoy your blog as well.
I am honored and so happy to be a part of a wonderful group of contractors online. I am looking forward to growing and sharing for many years to come.
Thanks again Scott for doing this, thanks to all the great sponsors and all the participants.
Shipping addresses of all 4 winners have been forwarded to all the participating manufacturers. I’d guess that you should see the products within about 2 weeks. Thanks again to all, and I hope to see you all blog about the products you won in the future.
I have plans to do just that Scott. Found out Earlex is about 100 miles away in my home state. I think this will be nice for small projects like site finishing a vanity or built in. Maybe a door or two.
